19 Pukenui Rd, Epsom
This Epsom project, completed alongside Basalt Build, covered multiple spaces throughout the home, including bathrooms, ensuites, WCs, kitchen, scullery, and laundry. Each area was approached with its own layout, while still keeping a consistent material palette running through the house.
Upstairs, the main bathroom is finished with full-height tiling across key walls using Chalk 600x600 tiles, giving the space a clean and solid base. This is paired with Fog subway tiles in a horizontal stacked layout across the vanity and shower walls, adding contrast without taking over the room.
Both ensuites follow a similar approach, with Chalk tiles used for the floors and selected walls, while different subway finishes bring a bit of individuality to each space. The Paul ensuite keeps things neutral with Fog subway tiles, while the Diane ensuite introduces a subtle shift in tone with Shell Blue, adding a softer, more personal feel.
The WCs, laundry, and splashback areas carry through a more classic combination. Marble hexagon mosaics are used on the floors, matched with white gloss subway tiles in a horizontal brick bond across the walls. This same finish continues into the kitchen and scullery splashbacks, tying everything together across the home.
With a mix of large format tiles, mosaics, and subway layouts, this project brings together a range of finishes while still maintaining a cohesive look from one space to the next.
